Don't MAX out on a MAXI!

Do you own one of the hottest must have pieces of the summer?? Maxi dresses come in a variety of colors, styles, prints, & materials. They can range in price from $10 to $250 depending on the quality or the designer! This DIVA is currently "balling on a budget" I don't spend lots of $$ on clothes or shoes simply b/c I like to switch my style up often, I'm still shedding pounds and before we know it summer will be over. Out grabbing a pair of sandals for my God-niece I spotted this gorgeous black w/white print maxi dress in the junior section of Dots! I second guessed it at 1st b/c I wasn't sure how the LARGE would fit me but at $19.99 I couldn't leave it on the rack!! I got home, slipped it on & it fit me PERFECTLY. All I could do was laugh....one of my fav maxi dresses in my closet thats way too big now (sz2x) cost me $89 bucks & this dress topped that one hands down! Proof that it doesn't take a whole lot of cash to look FAB!

Bandeau!

Plus sized women should not be afraid to be DARING!! There are ways u can keep it classy and still be a FATshionista! I've been loving the bandeau top look for a while now but never had the courage to show my fat tummy out in public! But after my weight loss and nearly 11 inches being lost off my waist I decided to try it!!
I used a huge printed scarf I bought in Vegas for $10 bucks and paired it with a pair of high waisted parachute pants from Forever21 (sz1X) $17.99! I felt a little naked so I added my favorite distressed wash jean vest from Dots (sz1X) $26.99 to cover my love handles and WA-LAH! You wouldnt believe the compliments I recieved on this look!! However ladies...be prepared for the haters also. True enough, everything is not for everybody BUT when u got it, flaunt it!! & do it with CONFIDENCE!!!! I will definitely be BANDEAUING again b4 the fall months begin to roll in...
